Coming soon: Your Mantel and Feed
Welcome to the Mantel page. These features aren’t live yet, but here is a look at where we are headed.
Mantel collects a wide range of your personal media, and all of that lives within the platform. Your Mantel and Feed use that data differently, creating more focused spaces for reflection and sharing.
Your Mantel
Your Mantel is the place for the memories that you want to return to more easily. Things like your honeymoon, a weekend away, a birthday, or a month you want to remember. Is it curated, not a full dump of everything on your phone.
See the full picture, not just the photos
All of your personal media can be pulled into your Mantel—not just photos! We are designing this experience so that most of this context is gathered automatically.
Layouts that feel intentional
Mantel compositions have been created with editorial design principles and minimal layouts, made to look like something that belongs on your own gallery wall. Isabella’s collaging style and Aekta’s minimal design aesthetic have both shaped this design.
A place to look back and reflect
Your Mantel is private to you. It can be a simple place to see what you were doing at a given time, or how a certain memory felt.
The feed
The Feed is a new social experience we are building within Mantel. There’s a growing desire for smaller, more genuine spaces to connect with the people we love. The Feed is designed for that. It is a way to share your life with your people, including moments that feel too private for regular social platforms, like kids’ faces or more personal life updates.
A new kind of social space
The Feed is meant to be the opposite of current social media, where you have endless scrolling, AI-generated content, and ads. It is meant for you to share your life with the people you know and care about, similar to the kind of update you would give when someone close to you asks how you have been or what you have been up to this month.
Share only what you choose
The Feed reflects only what you choose to share from your Mantel. If you prefer to send something directly, you can export and share a Mantel through iMessage or any other app as a simple, clean visual asset.
